Welcome to the Academy of Excellence Charter School. Academy of Excellence (AOE) is located near the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. AOE was founded in 1998 by Ms. Brenda Nelson and a board of volunteers who felt the need to provide educational services for students and their families in the central Phoenix area. AOE is now an I-Ready school, incorporating I-Ready’s state of the art diagnostic and instructional curriculum to ensure the educational growth and success of Academy of Excellence students.
Academy of Excellence serves a very mobile community. Many of our students are new transplants from other parts of the country and their families are looking to get established in Phoenix. All students are welcome to come and learn at Academy of Excellence.
